This 12“ X 18” reduction block print is hand carved from a single linoleum block a total of six times. I transfer the initial image, which is a beautiful photograph done by local photographer Ryan James Unger from the spring of 2019 in Quarry Park. I carved and printed this block six times to capture the delicate loveliness of a beautiful little bird.
The frame was beautifully crafted using reclaimed wood from old church pews from St. Paul, Minnesota by fellow printmaker Stanley Leonard. This print is framed to perfection with a gorgeous inlay and matte.
