HOT OFF THE PRESS
Collabs are my favorite thing, especially when it’s another badass craftsperson, like me! Meet Megan and JD Jorgenson of Maine Prairie Studio out of Kimball, Minnesota. These guys took my logo and some black on black glaze to create these limited edition cups. Perfect for booze or tea or M&Ms. I love them! Get ‘em whilst they are HOT!

These bandanas took over 100 hours to make. Honestly, they took a little piece of our sanity too.
We started with 24” X 24” super soft organic cotton bandanas from Maiwa in British Columbia because we wanted them to feel like an old favorite from the very first time you wore them. Then we hand-dyed every one of them out on the patio during a beautiful June afternoon.
Then we designed an entirely original 24” x 24” print inspired by old print shops, my Vandercook press tracks, dingbats, shop tools, and Bruno Press history. Then we spent two full days carving it by hand!
Because the block is too large for our presses, every single bandana is printed by hand using a baren. One at a time, inked by hand 100 times. They are all a little different. There is linoleum “noise” where the ink was picked up, but that is all part of the beauty. If you want perfect, you came to the wrong place :)
Then they cure for two days, head to the laundromat to make sure the ink stays put, and finally get washed, dried, folded, and packaged. No AI and no shortcuts.
So yes, they're expensive. They're wearable prints and little pieces of Bruno Press that get to travel through the world with you. I am absolutely obsessed with them!!
If you have ever heard David Brooks talk, then you know why it’s super exciting for me to make prints of some of his words. He is coming to speak here in Joetown at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s Unversity, I am truly honored to have captured these quotes and took some inspiration from the last 2 book covers. I love taking daring explorations, it should be my middle name. I will miss meeting Mr. Brooks but I hope he returns and I hope these posters make it onto his office wall.

They're not necessarily elected officials, wealthy philanthropists, or people with impressive titles.
They're the people who organize neighborhood gatherings, check on elderly neighbors, mentor young people, welcome newcomers, volunteer, and make sure nobody feels invisible.
In an interview about his Weave initiative, Brooks explains that these people come from all walks of life, but share something important:
“Whatever they do, they lead with love.”

A 9-color hand-carved linoleum block print featuring the words:

This piece was created in a moment that felt heavy—when fear, division, and injustice were loud and close to home. In the aftermath of increased ICE activity in Minnesota and the constant noise of political chaos, I found myself back at the press, doing what I know how to do: carving, printing, and trying to make sense of it all.
Each layer of this print was built slowly, intentionally—nine passes through the press, each one a commitment to showing up, even when it’s hard. Letterpress has always been a way for me to process, to respond, and to connect. This print is no different.
It’s a reminder.
That love is not passive.
That choosing compassion, empathy, and humanity—especially right now—is powerful.
Printed by hand at Bruno Press on vintage equipment, each piece carries the marks of the process and the moment it was made.
