The Recollection: REDUX

As my show “The Recollection” was cut short due to the Pandemic in March of 2020, I am circling back to show how far I have come since then! This exhibition is both a look back and a step forward — a retrospective of more than two decades of letterpress poster-making, alongside new works that reflect a softer, more contemplative direction. The show explores how art holds memory, how process evolves, and how legacy presses on.

Printing multiple colors from a single linoleum block? What kind of sorcery is this? Reduction block printing will have you thinking about image-making in new, mind-bending ways. Through a series of progressive carvings and press runs, the image emerges as the linoleum block is gradually destroyed. After a thorough explanation of the process, this workshop will cover the following: Choosing appropriate images for reduction printing. Transferring the image to the block. Selecting and using carving tools. Printing with the Vandercook cylinder press. Planning the color scheme. Overprinting techniques to create multiple colors. Visualizing the stages the print will go through as the reduction print continues. How to use this process at home (without a Vandercook). All levels. Letterpress studio.

SPEAKER at Women of Influence Summit '25

  • 154 Southeast 5th Avenue Saint Joseph, MN, 56374 United States (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

For the past 10 years, the Women of Influence Summit has been a transformative space for women to connect, grow, and lead with confidence not just in their careers, but in their lives. As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we recognize that the Summit is more than just a gathering — it is a movement that fosters curiosity, community and courage in a way that is truly uncommon.

This year’s theme, Uncommon Leadership, is a call to action urging women to embrace who they are, trust their instincts, and stand firm in their values—even when it’s uncomfortable. True leadership transcends conventional norms, dismantles barriers, prioritizes authenticity, and values progress over perfection. It’s about building trust through vulnerability, empowering others, and recognizing that influence isn’t about position or power—it’s about impact.

At the 2025 Summit, we will explore what it means to be an uncommon leader — one who challenges the status quo, inspires change, and fosters meaningful relationships. Attendees will leave empowered to step forward with conviction, lead with intention, and embrace the impact only they can make.

A Call to Lead Uncommonly
As we embark on the next decade of Next Monday, we reaffirm our commitment to evolving and redefining leadership. This year’s Summit invites every woman to step boldly into her influence. Together, we will champion authenticity, drive meaningful change, and define success on our own terms.

Over the past two years, we've proudly donated 20% of all sales and auction proceeds to our local Planned Parenthood chapter. This year, we're doubling down on our commitment to protect our right to choose and stand against political threats to women's reproductive rights. Come support, celebrate, and make a difference with us!
