Stop Line 3

Stop Line 3

$30.00

This 12x18” hand carved poster was made to highlight the ongoing fight against fossil fuel extraction and the heavy toll it takes on the planet and communities near extraction corridors.

Currently Line 3 from the Canadian corporation Enbridge, a company responsible for the largest inland oil spill in North America to date which occurred near Grand Rapids, Minnesota, is nearing completion and crosses multiple wetlands, indigenous trust lands, tributaries, reservation land and rivers including the Mississippi River.

On September 17th of 2021 The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources ordered Enbridge to pay $3.3 million for piercing a groundwater aquifer during construction of its Line 3 oil pipeline in northwestern Minnesota. At a time when Minnesota faces recovery from a summer of drought, historic high temperatures and depleted water resources, this violation of Minnesota's water integrity highlights the need to end this pipeline and refocus the conversation on the state's supposed climate goals as laid out by the state legislature.

Proceeds from the sales of this poster goes in their entirety to a multitude of organizations from those on the legal side to those using direct peaceful action. The time to act is now!

Thank you to Luke Young, Lucy Ganje, Paulette Moore, and Madison Holler, Love you all.
