This reduction block print is hand carved from a single linoleum block a total of eight times. I transfer the initial image, which is a beautiful photograph done by local photographer Steve Diamond of his favorite lizard, Mr. Wiggles. I carved and printed this block eight times to capture the intricacy of Mr. Wiggles scale pattern. I then added gold leaf to the sun and the whole thing feels pretty incredible!

The frame was beautifully crafted using reclaimed wood from old church pews from St. Paul, Minnesota by fellow printmaker Stanley Leonard. This print is framed to perfection with a gorgeous inlay and matte.
